Our loan officers are recognized as the best the industry has to offer. They are consistently honored by the Mortgage Bankers association as top award winners. These are the people that will sit down with you to go over short and long term financial goals so that a mortgage package can be catered to fit them. They are not just front men that simply take an application, but skilled, knowledgeable, and experienced loan officers who know underwriting guidelines, product lines, and processing procedures.

Brian was born and raised in Allentown, PA. He received his degree from Bloomsburg University. Brian has been with Omega Financial Services since 1997 and has been in the industry since 1990. His level of experience in the business has helped him consistently be awarded by the Mortgage Bankers Association of Southwestern Pennsylvania.
Matthew J. Baculik | Loan Officer | mattb@omegafsi.com
Matthew Baculik grew up in Armstrong County and graduated from Ford City High School. He attended Bowling Green University for a business degree and before transferring to Indiana University of Pennsylvania to major in Finance and minor in Accounting. During this time he built a construction company to support himself throughout school.
Although the company grew to possibly provide Matt with a solid career, he knew he could still do more. So, in January of 2001 he joined Omega Financial Services as a mortgage consultant. During his first year he was awarded a gold award by the Mortgage Bankers of Southwestern Pennsylvania for successfully originating over 12 million in total dollar volume. He has since been a platinum award winner for the past two years originating over 20 million each year. He feels his success can be attributed to his ambition, patience and respect for every customer.

Rick Canello, a lifetime resident of Pittsburgh, has nine successful years in the mortgage industry where he is continually a top producer. His success can be attributed in part to skills he attained through years of experience in the restaurant business. The most important of these - giving clients individual attention, providing customer satisfaction, and generating repeat business.
A graduate of Keystone Oaks High School and Connolly Technical Institute, Rick has also attended the University of Pittsburgh. In his spare time he volunteers as a coach for Greentree soccer, commissioner for the local baseball league, and Minister of Hospitality for Saint Margaret's Parish.

Jim is a life long resident of Western Pennsylvania. He spent his youth in West Deer Township where he attended Deer Lakes High School. He also has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Westminster College, where he graduated in 1991.
Jim has over 10 years of experience in the mortgage banking industry, all with Omega Financial Services. He has consistently received awards from the Mortgage Bankers Association of Southwestern Pennsylvania.

Loren Frey was born and raised in Saint Croix, Virgin Islands along with his 8 siblings. After spending his youth on the island, he enrolled at Slippery Rock University to pursue a major in international business and a minor in Spanish. After attending college, he worked on an alaskan fishing boat to assist with the cost of his education. After completing this task he returned to Pittsburgh as an employee of Omega Financial Services. For the past 5 years he has gained a solid grasp of the mortgage banking industry and has been recently awarded for his success with a gold award from the Mortgage Bankers Association of Southwestern Pennsylvania.
An ambitious individual, Loren has been working with Matthew Baculik to expand Omega's market share to the Eastern Pennsylvania area.

Paul Juliano has 16 years experience in the mortgage industry and is a lifetime resident of Pennsylvania. Paul's consistently recognized as one of Western Pennsylvania's Top Loan Originators earning him the Platinum Award for Excellence several years running.
Paul has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the mortgage industry while maintaining a firm grasp of mortgage market trends. He delivers on his belief that his customers deserve sincerity, expertise, and professionalism at all times. This is reflected in his business being largely generated by referral only. Paul believes the greatest compliment he can receive is a referral from a previous client or a repeat customer.

Nan was raised in Armstrong county and graduated from Ford City
High School. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business
from Drexel University, in Philadelphia. Her business career
includes 20 years of executive level positions in retailing. As a
jewelry buyer or the Director of Human Resources, customer
satisfaction has always been a crucial element to her success.
Not only is she detail oriented and a good listener, she also has
a strong sense of integrity. She believes that service to her
customers includes looking out for their best interests. It’s this
belief, along with her comprehensive understanding of the
mortgage industry, that accounts for her high percentage of
referral business.
Nan and her husband Nick have a home in Mount Lebanon, where
they have lived for 16 years.

Processors
Our back room consists of highly educated processors that truly underwrite your loan before the underwriter ever sees it. They are that good! In fact, they are so valuable that we have found them hard to replace with anyone but an actual underwriter. These are the people that will nurture and knead your file until it is an approvable loan.
This extra attention is important for a borderline loan, but what does this mean for the perfect loan? Simple, there is a quick turn around for you and hassle free processing and settlement. A loan application is normally not granted a final loan commitment until an authorized loan underwriter has approved the file. This could take two to three weeks, however by having a knowledgeable support staff, we are able to tell if a loan will be approved and if not, what we need to do to get it approved. This can be done by our processors within days of you filing a mortgage application.
The knowledge and experience our processors have allow your loan to get approved quickly and hassle free. They are an important part of our mortgage team and play a vital role in making your homeownership dreams come true.

Underwriters
As a mortgage banker, we employ an in-house underwriter so that decisions are made by omega financial services. This allows us to provide quick response and less hassle unlike brokers who must submit your loan file to another company for any credit decision.
